Located in central Anne Arundel county Maryland, the city of Crofton offers an almost equal commuting time to the cities of Baltimore and Washington.  While that makes it popular for commuters, there is much more to this small town of just 22,000 than meets the eye.  Crofton has long been recognized by residents as a great place to live, but in 2007 CNN's Money magazine added Crofton to it's top 100 places to live list!

This suburban city boasts nearly twice the national average for household income at anaverage of over $100,000 per year.  Our family of Crofton Realtors live in and love Crofton Park which is the first community subdivision and is widely recognized by it's welcoming brick entrance (right off Maryland Route 301) with quaint pond and resident ducks and geese.

Built in the 1960 and 70's to house NSA and Fort Meade employees the community is built around the 3 mile circle called the Crofton Parkway, the center of which is a golf course and a membership only Crofton Country Club.  We even have an old style Village Green that is home to the famous Sly Horse Tavern, a cozy and well loved Crofton eatery as well as other local businesses.  

Crofton Park is one of the few communities in the area where you can see your friends and neighbors taking a leisurely stroll on the Parkway as part of their excercise routine.  The community offers regular special events for residents including ice cream socials, concerts in the park, parades and an annual visit from Santa who comes to town on a fire engine!

In addition to Crofton Park there are many more recently built subdivisions including The Tiers of Walden a Crofton golf course community of newer luxury homes and townhomes, The Knolls a community of smaller single family homes and luxury townhomes which offers access to the community pools, Crofton Mews a large townhome and condominium community, Crofton Meadows which offers all types of homes.  Plus many more communities all worth exploring if you are thinking of buying or renting a home.
